VIDEOudit Terms of Service

This is a translation. If it differs from the Korean original, the Korean original prevails.

1. Purpose

These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the VIDEOudit service (including the Chrome extension, the "Service") provided by CHROMETI ("we" or "the operator"), and the rights and obligations of the operator and members.

3. Effect and changes

  1. These terms are posted on the Service and take effect when you agree to them at sign-up.
  2. We may change these terms within the limits of applicable law. We announce changes on the Service 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes unfavorable to members).
  3. If you do not agree to a change, you may stop using the Service and close your account.

4. YouTube

  1. The Service uses YouTube API Services. By using the Service you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms).
  2. The Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) applies to information processed through YouTube API Services.
  3. The Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.
  4. Changes to YouTube or Google policies or features may change or stop parts of the Service.

5. Sign-up

  1. You join by signing up with an email address and completing verification, or by accepting the terms and confirming you are 14 or older the first time you use Google, then signing in with your Google account. The operator may also issue accounts.
  2. Children under 14 may not sign up.
  3. You must provide accurate information. Signing up with another person's information, or creating multiple accounts to receive free grants repeatedly, is prohibited.
  4. You must keep your account secure and may not transfer or lend it. If you learn your account was compromised, tell us immediately.

6. The Service

  1. The Service provides AI diagnosis reports and AI View based on video information, material you provide such as scripts and captions, and YouTube public information.
  2. What each Basic and Pro audit includes follows the Basic vs Pro page shown on the Service.
  3. Diagnosis results and AI View are reference information for improving videos. The Service does not guarantee any outcome such as search ranking, views, subscribers or revenue.
  4. AI-generated results may contain errors. Review results and use your own judgment.

7. Credits and AI View views

  1. Free grants: When you complete email verification or sign up with Google, we grant the number of audit credits and AI View views (trial) that we set. During the trial, AI View listens only to the first 10 minutes of a video. Trial AI View has a service-wide monthly allotment; in a month where it is used up, trial AI View runs may be held until the next month. Purchased views are not subject to this limit.
  2. Deduction: Credits are deducted only for completed diagnoses, and, regardless of video length, a Basic diagnosis uses one credit while a Pro diagnosis or an Instagram Reels diagnosis uses two credits. A pre-upload check uses credits by the length analyzed: two up to 10 minutes, three up to 20 minutes and five up to 30 minutes (free sign-up credits cover one check of a video up to 10 minutes); for videos over 30 minutes only the first 30 minutes are checked. Very long videos (over about 120 minutes) may be analyzed from the beginning only. If a diagnosis does not complete because of a service or AI error, nothing is deducted or the credit is restored. AI View uses one view per 20 minutes of video (1 view up to 20 minutes, 2 up to 40 minutes, 3 beyond that) and listens to the first 60 minutes of longer videos. During the trial, AI View listens to the first 10 minutes and uses one view. The number of views is shown before you run it, and nothing is deducted when a service error produces no result. Viewing a saved result for the same video again (within 24 hours) uses one view.
  3. Validity: Credits and views bought in a pack can be used for 12 months from the purchase date. If you buy another pack within that period, the remaining paid credits and views are also extended to 12 months from the new purchase date. Expired credits and views lapse.
  4. Credits and views granted for free have no cash value and cannot be refunded or transferred.
  5. Credits and views cannot be transferred to other members or exchanged for cash.

8. Paid services and payment

  1. Paid products are one-time payments per pack. Nothing renews automatically or bills periodically.
  2. The price and contents of each pack are shown on the pricing screen before payment. Prices are shown in US dollars; whether tax is included and the final amount are shown on the checkout screen.
  3. Payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar") as the Merchant of Record. You enter payment method details directly with Polar; we never receive them. Polar issues the receipt.
  4. Card fees and exchange-rate differences for international payments follow your card issuer's policies.
  5. When payment completes, the pack's credits and views are added to your account immediately.

9. Withdrawal and refunds

  1. Within 7 days of payment, you may withdraw and receive a full refund if you have used none of the pack's credits or views.
  2. Once you use any credit or view, provision of digital content has begun and withdrawal for that pack is restricted. We tell you this before payment and ask you to confirm.
  3. If a defect in the Service prevented you from using purchased credits normally, we restore or refund that part regardless of (1) and (2).
  4. If the Service differs from what was displayed or advertised or from the contract, you may withdraw within 3 months of receiving it, or within 30 days of the day you learned or could have learned of it.
  5. If a minor paid without a legal guardian's consent, the minor or the guardian may cancel the contract.
  6. We cancel the payment through the payment provider within 3 business days of receiving a withdrawal request.

10. Member obligations

You must not:

  1. Enter videos or material you have no right to use, or infringe the rights of others
  2. Use another person's account or share your account
  3. Reverse-engineer the Service's evaluation criteria or methods, send automated bulk requests, or systematically collect, copy or resell results
  4. Circumvent security or access limits, or interfere with system operation
  5. Use the Service to violate the YouTube Terms of Service or applicable law

11. Content and intellectual property

  1. You keep the rights to material you enter. You allow us to process it as needed to provide diagnoses and reports.
  2. You may freely use reports you receive for personal or business purposes.
  3. The operator holds the rights to the Service, its evaluation methods, report structure, software and trademarks.

12. Third-party services and AI processing

The Service uses external AI services, cloud services and a payment provider to generate reports and AI View, process payments and send emails. Details are in Section 6 of the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes and suspension

  1. We may change or temporarily suspend all or part of the Service for improvements, changes in third-party policies or maintenance, and we give advance notice where possible.
  2. If we permanently end the paid service, we announce it 30 days in advance and refund the remaining valid paid credits and views in proportion.

14. Restrictions and closing your account

  1. If you violate Section 5(3) or Section 10, we may restrict your use or delete your account, and we reclaim credits and views obtained improperly.
  2. You may close your account (terminate the contract) at any time. If valid paid credits remain, we refund the pack price minus the used share (based on the audit credits in the pack) and minus 10% of the price; if Section 9(1) applies, we refund in full. Free grants lapse. Request the refund at help@chrometi.com before closing your account.

15. Limitation of liability

  1. We are not liable for damage caused by events outside our responsibility, such as natural disasters or failures or policy changes of third-party services (YouTube, Google, AI providers, cloud providers, payment provider).
  2. We are not liable for outcomes (ranking, views, revenue, etc.) of following or not following diagnosis results.
  3. This does not apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence.

16. Privacy

We process your personal information according to the Privacy Policy (https://videoudit.com/privacy).

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes about use of the Service are resolved by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
